VJS Construction Services Website

Construction projects are complex, and the work brings together a variety of interests, including building owners, developers, architects, skilled trades, and Construction Companies. It is the work of the construction company to build the vision while serving the client’s interests. Catral Doyle developed five new websites for VJS Construction Services, and our work began with a multi-tiered Discovery phase. Speaking with all of the parties involved in the aspects of construction helped inform the structure and key communication for the websites.

The Objective: To work with the VJS team to develop a family of websites that effectively represent the broad range of VJS service offerings and capabilities. 

Discovery Phase: To build an effective and relevant online presence,our team began with a Discovery phase. Starting with the development of unique questionnaires for clients, lost clients, community leaders, architects, developers, trades and partners, CDC made calls to lists of individuals provided by VJS, and we listened and documented our many conversations. Based on our conversations, we came to understand that VJS is a well-respected industry leader that conducts their business with integrity and a community focus. Participants provided candid feedback to our team that helped shape the organization, site structure and language used on the sites. Participants were impressed that VJS invested in hearing from their clients and partners to improve their service delivery and relationships.

The CDC Solution: Informed by the Discovery phase, our team collaborated with the VJS team to design the VJS Construction Services site. The most complex and comprehensive of the websites developed, VJSCS.com, set the standards for the family of sites. Organizing an impressive range of experience to help users quickly find the most relevant information resulted in landing pages where users can review projects similar to the type they are building. Based on the breadth of expertise in Education and Senior Living, we developed additional landing pages highlighting their full range of experience. The Services area features a tabbing system that guided users to specific content. Imagery, infographics, and video provide a more engaging experience. CDC worked with VJS to develop a thoughtful Careers section to engage potential team members in a highly competitive market. Finally, a well-organized and dynamic blog will help keep VJS top of mind and in front of prospective clients and industry partners.  

The Results: Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the VJS team and Catral Doyle creative, we developed and launched the five new sites. The feedback has been very positive from the VJS team, clients, and partners. VJS now has an online presence that represents the vibrant and forward-thinking organization it is. We are pleased to continue working with VJS on on-going Search Engine Optimization and marketing initiatives to help keep VJS Construction Services at the forefront of their industry.
